Our Mission:

"Transforming the family farm in a business economically viable, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable, enabling the field to produce and educating the city to consume."

When offering water, we are offering longevity, since life expectancy in Malawi is only 42 years.

In one of the communities we visited, residents walked many miles to drink water from a polluted river. Other children drank water from a well in very unfit conditions. Therefore, we constructed three wells, one in each community that will meet the need of water for more than 50 years.

According to the Malawian government, in the three villages initially benefited from the project, there were no records of deaths from diseases caused by contaminated water.

The Mandalla system is a means of food production built with recyclable materials.

The success of the system is its amazing capacity in a short space and with low water usage. Crops are planted at nine sites around a water reservoir, from where the irrigation system operates. In the reservoir; fish, ducks and loons,

which fertilize water to crops, are produced. They use the tools a daily farmer would, such as cotton swabs (cotton buds) to the micro water. Small animals such as goats, chickens and rabbits live together in a common area, in an interactive system, where the needs are met by the production of the other. For example, chicken manure and tillage provides for the planting and feed on weeds. In fact, the small animals are additional sources of meat, milk and dairy products for the families.

Project Malawi invests in education and creating a better future.

For a long time, children living in three villages located about 25km from the city of Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi had a huge problem to go to school. They had to walk about 15 kilometers, since their parents did not own cars and buses were not available in that region.

But this picture has been reversed fortunately with the inauguration of a school with capacity to serve over 1,500 children, created by the Malawi Project. In addition to serving children, schools should offer vocational courses for adults. The first steps to make a social change in Malawi are already being given, and are translated with the achievement of this educational service.

About 35% of the population is infected with the HIV virus.

Given the well-being of the community as a whole, we also decided to build a health clinic in partnership with the government. The post will serve those infected by AIDS and offer a prevention program.

There will also be programs to combat malnutrition.
